The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Beatrice Serwaa Derkyi chaired the event which took place at the premises of Tikrom M/A Basic School. Present at the event were Traditional Authorities, Municipal Officers, Ghana Education Service Officers, Religious Representatives and Community members to grace the occasion.
The Municipal Education Director, Mrs. Amina Achiaa Amoah, thanked the Assembly for the facility since it will improve teaching and learning in the school and urged the teachers and students of the school to put the facility to good use.
The MCE, during her speech, advised the school and the community to make good use of the facility and also practice a proper maintenance culture for future generations to benefit from the facility.
The MCE, Hon. Beatrice Serwaa Derkyi thanked the people of Tikrom for their warm welcome and asked them to make good use of the facility and promised them a toilet facility will be built in the school for proper sanitary and environmental health.
The Education Director pleaded with the community to take good care of the infrastructure and put it to good use. A religious leader prayed for the JHS 3 students to come out with flying colours for their upcoming BECE exams.
