Hon. Beatrice Serwaa Derkyi Municipal Chief Executive of Ejisu Municipal Assembly presented some coconut seedlings to farmers to boost Planting for Export and Rural Development. The District Director of Agriculture, Mr. Akowuah acknowledged the support of the Ejisu Municipal Assembly for their massive support for the Planting for Export and Rural Development initiative. Some of the beneficiary community include Besease. Hon. Beatrice Serwaa Derkyi in an interview said provision of seedlings would enhance the economic activities of the farmers. One of the farmers who receive the coconut seedling on behalf on the farmers expressed gratitude to the Assembly and called on the youth to take farming as a career to earn a living.
