Pursuant to section 9(1b) of the Ghana Aids Commission Act 2016, Act 938, the Governing board of the AIDs Commission under the chairmanship of his Excellency the President directed the Regional Committee of the Ghana AIDS Commission to inaugurate and swearing in members of the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Committees in the Region. In connection to the above, on Wednesday 17th November, 2021, the Ashanti Regional Committee members inaugurated and sworn in members of the Ejisu Municipal AIDS committee. The Committee consist of the Municipal Chief Executive as the Chairperson. Municipal Local Person, Municipal Health Director, Municipal Education Director, One Representative from Municipal Muslim Community, Christian Community, Civil Society, Traditional Council and Network of Association of reasons living with HIV).
