The Head of Office of Local Government Service and Director General of National Information Technology Agency Mr Richard Okyere Fosu joined the MIS Class of Local Government Service to inaugrurate their association. The MIS ptofessionals also known as IT professionals have come together in order to have one voice to champion the wellbeing while supporting the government to push its digitization agenda. Ing Dr Nana Ato Arthur urged MIS Officers to discharge their duties diligently because the IT is a key to development and promoting digitisation of the Country’s agenda at the district level. The NITA Boss also the Association to abreast themselves with the laws that govern the ICT industry because thay are major tools for any ICT professionals. He also assured the MMDAs that they are prepared to offer support to them to let them achieve their common objective.
