The Assembly led by Hon. S.O Frimpong visited Ampabame, Adadientem and Manhyia. Our first point of call was Ampabame, the chief and the assembly member for the area appealed to the Hon. MCE to complete a school block which they have constructed to the lentil level from their own resources.
The other requests they made were the construction of a community centre, the upgrading of their town roads, employment opportunities for the youth etc. During the open forum, some people asked for chips compound and street lights at a road linking Ampabame and Adadientem.
In response to the requests by the chief, the assembly member and the people, Hon. MCE assured them that the assembly would capture the construction of their school block in the assembly’s budget for next year. He also urged them to pay their property rate so that the assembly can bring more developmental projects to the area and advised the church leaders to buy body scanners and CCTV to be fixed in and around their church buildings.
The chief and his people presented a sheep to the Hon. MCE.
