The Ejisu Rent Office hosted a knowledge-sharing workshop for 15 registered rental agents to enlighten them on the legal requirements and standards that apply to their work.
The workshop, led by the Principal Rent Manager, Mr. Ishmeal Essien covered essential topics such as the responsibilities of rental agents, legal requirements, and best practices.
Participants also learned how the Rent Office can support them in their work and enhance their services to the public.
During the workshop, rental agents identified areas of illegal activity and challenges they face in their daily operations.
A key resolution was made, encouraging registered agents to report any illegal activities to the authorities for prosecution.
The Ejisu Rent Office has announced plans to host another workshop in September, this time targeting landlords and tenants.
This initiative demonstrates the office’s commitment to promoting transparency, compliance, and fairness in the rental market.
By empowering rental agents and stakeholders with knowledge and resources, the Ejisu Rent Office is working towards a more regulated and efficient rental sector.
