SOAP MAKING STARTUP ITEMS TO TWENTY (20) PERSONS LIVING WITH DISABILITIES (PWD’S)

On 1st February 2023, a durbar was held at the forecourt of the Ejisu Municipal Assembly to present soap making start up items to PWD’S who have being given skill training on the preparation of detergents. The items which were for the preparation of liquid and bar soaps were disbursed to an initial twenty (20) persons with disabilities out of fifty-seven (57) who had undergone Ejisu Municipal Disability Fund Management Committee approved skill training in the preparation of detergents. Present at the function were the MCE of Ejisu, Hon. S.O. Frimpong, Disability Fund Management Committee Chairman Hon. George Kuntu Blankson, Ashanti Regional President of Ghana Federation of Disability organizations, Mr. Andrews Gyimah, Head of Social Welfare and Community Development, Mr. Adusei Amponsah.

 

The beneficiaries were told that the essence of the start-up was to ensure that they have an initial capital to work with, put the skill acquired to good use, expand and earn some profits to support themselves and families.
